Our Vision

Through the Foundation’s financial support, Washington Idaho Rainbow will meet its mission to develop generations of girls to be empowered, confident leaders.

Our Board of Directors

Christina (Groves) Riley, DirectorChristina Riley joined Washington Idaho Rainbow when she was 11 years old. She served in many local and state offices while a Rainbow girl, and was elected to serve as Grand Worthy Associate Advisor (2000-2001), She is thrilled to return to serve WA ID Rainbow as a Director for the Foundation. She comes from a active Masonic Family that spans generations. She has an MA from Yale University, an MPhil from Drew University, and a BA from Western Washington University. Christina currently works as Program Manager at Seattle Children's Hospital. She has a passion for equity, diversity and inclusion work, and enjoys bringing fresh ideas to the organization. John Adamson, Vice-ChairJohn has a long relationship with Washington Idaho Rainbow serving as Rainbow Dad, Chairman and member of Advisory Boards. Professionally, John was a city manager, consultant and college instructor.  He saw service in the US Army in Vietnam.  As a Life Member of the Disabled American Veterans, he is active in veterans’ issues. Although John retired from a career as a city manager, he is still involved in community organizations.  He joined the Masonic Fraternity when his daughter Michelle became Worthy Advisor of Puyallup Assembly.  John is currently serving as Rainbow Dad again now that his granddaughter, McKenzie, is Worthy Advisor for the same assembly.He was the founding Chairman of the Board of Directors, serving on it continuously since 1999.“I am passionate about helping young people succeed.” - John

Zane McCune, Vice-Chair

Zane McCune grew up in the Pacific Northwest and is a graduate of the University of Puget Sound. He is a finance professional who works with institutional accounts on a variety of topics. Zane has previously served on a number of boards and foundations and is passionate about supporting youth and the community.

Zane has served on the Board of Directors since 2019.

Dianna Kaspar, SecretaryDianna joined Kirkland Assembly #72 in 1984.  She was awarded her Grand Cross of Color and appointed Grand Representative of Oregon & Nevada in June of 1989.  She received her majority at Grand Assembly in 1991 and joined the Advisory Board in Kirkland shortly after, where she served until they merged with Bellevue Assembly.  She joined the Bellevue Advisor Board when her daughter joined Rainbow, and is a proud Past Mother Advisor of Bellevue Assembly. Dianna also joined Kirkland Chapter Eastern Star, and is currently Worthy Matron for the 5th time. Sue Adamson, Director

Sue was initiated into Jewel Assembly #56 in Billings Montana in 1956. After attending the University of Iowa double majoring in math and education, she married her sweetheart, John in 1965. Sue’s daughter joined Puyallup Assembly in 1980, and now Sue’s granddaughter is WA of the same assembly. Sue has been Mother Advisor of both Puyallup and Orting, Grand Deputy in Tacoma, Director of Membership, chairman of the Grand Representatives, and State Mother Advisor in 2006.

Sue has served on the Board of Directors since 2002.
